The first institutional investors
PATRIZIA starts third-party investment management for institutional and corporate clients. The company now works with 500+ of the world’s leading institutional investors.
Launch of PATRIZIA Foundation
PATRIZIA sets up the PATRIZIA Foundation to give children and young people around the world access to education and training.
Successful IPO
PATRIZIA becomes a listed company on SDAX, Germany’s index for small cap companies, bringing in fresh capital for growth.
Launch of private investor business
The company opens its closed-end funds to private clients in Germany. More than 1,600 investors participate in the first year. 2017 First investment in tech companies PATRIZIA makes its first pilot investments in high-growth tech companies, followed by principal investments, allowing for even more added value to be passed on to clients.
Expansion of global client base
Building on its position as a global operator, PATRIZIA acquires four complementary investment managers: Rockspring, Triuva, Sparinvest and Kenzo.
Establishment of PATRIZIA Japan K.K.
The establishment of PATRIZIA Japan significantly strengthens PATRIZIA’s visibility and broadens its institutional client base in Asia.
Infrastructure and APAC Growth
PATRIZIA expands its global infrastructure business to account for 15% of total assets under management following the acquisition of Whitehelm Capital. Public limited-liability company PATRIZIA continues its transformation to becoming a global real asset investment manager by adopting an SE (Societas Europaea) structure. The opening of a PATRIZIA regional hub in Singapore coincides with a new partnership with an Asian institutional investor to invest up to EUR1bn in Japanese real estate.
